Felei TechCity is hosting the third T.I.E² (Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem) Meetup in Freetown, bringing together startup founders, investors, financial institutions and ecosystem enablers. The theme is “From Product to Investment”.

The guest speaker is Wansung Park, CEO of Ventureport VC in Seoul. He will talk about what investors look for before they put money into a startup. Founders who have raised investment will share how they did it, and there will be time to network.

Places for startups are limited.

About the series

The T.I.E² program started last October at the Christex Foundation in Freetown, and the second meetup was held in Makeni in June.

Felei TechCity, the government-initiated 130-acre Special Economic Zone for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship being developed in Bo District, set up the series to give people in Sierra Leone’s tech and startup space a place to meet and learn from each other.
