When Learn2Earn opened in December 2025, it trained 30 young people. Ten months later, it is training 120 at the same time.
Sixty of them began yesterday at the Cohort 4 orientation. They come from universities across the country, and like every cohort before them, they will spend their first week building a professional profile that clients can find online.
The other 60, in Cohort 3, start their third week this week. Having built their profiles and learned how freelancing works, they now move on to winning freelance opportunities. More than half of this group are young women, up from one in five in the pilot.
Both cohorts are working towards what Cohort 2 has already done, earning from their skills. During their training, Cohort 1 to 3 participants competed for paid assignments, and some won more than once.
Both cohorts will graduate together. From there, the aim is to turn what they have learned into steady freelance work.
