The Learning Passport certificate (required)

What is the Learning Passport?

The MBSSE Learning Passport is a free digital learning platform in Sierra Leone. You must create an account, complete the Mastering Freelancing course, and upload your certificate of completion with your application. This is mandatory, your application will not be considered without it.

ℹ️  Access the platform at: mbsse-dsti.learningpassport.org

  1. Go to mbsse-dsti.learningpassport.org and create a free account.
  2. Log in and search for the course titled “Mastering Freelancing.”
  3. Complete all modules. You can do this at your own pace before the deadline.
  4. Once finished, the platform will generate a certificate. Download or screenshot it.
  5. Upload the certificate file when you reach that section of the application form.

Note: Set aside at least a few hours for the course. Do not leave this until the day of the deadline.

Save the certificate as a PDF or image file (JPG or PNG). If the platform provides a shareable link rather than a downloadable file, take a clear screenshot and save it as an image before uploading.

The one-minute video

What should I say in my video?

The form asks you to explain why you are ready to join this year’s cohort. A strong video typically covers:

  • Who you are and what you currently do
  • Why you want to join Learn2Earn specifically
  • The skill area you want to develop or are already developing
  • What you plan to do with the skills after the programme

Speak clearly and directly to the camera. You do not need a professional setup, good natural light and a quiet room is enough.

Filling in the form

I am not a student. Do I need to fill in the Student Information section?

No. Section 2 (Student Information) only applies if you selected “Student” as your professional category. If you are not a student, skip or leave this section blank, it is marked as optional.

This information is collected so that participants with disabilities can receive any access support they need during training. It does not affect your eligibility in any way. You may select “Prefer not to say” if you do not wish to disclose.

Enter 0 for both the monthly income and number of clients fields. These questions help the programme understand where participants are starting from, they are not used to disqualify beginners.

Yes. The eligibility requirement says you must “own or have access to” a laptop. If you have a reliable device you can bring to every training session for the full three-week period, you meet this requirement. Select “Yes” on the laptop question.

Successful applicants will be contacted via the email address and WhatsApp number you provide in the form. Make sure both are correct and active before you submit. Check your messages and email regularly after the deadline.
