To achieve this, it was first necessary to understand the current state of readiness. The Draft Sierra Leone AI Readiness Diagnostic Report does exactly that, assessing the nation’s readiness to adopt Artificial Intelligence in a way that is responsible, inclusive, and built for every Sierra Leonean.
That is why over the next three days, the Ministry is bringing together media organisations, civil society, government, and the private sector to ensure that Sierra Leone’s National AI Strategy shows the realities, priorities, and voices of its people, including local languages and culture.
Sierra Leone’s AI story will be written by collaboration, trust, and meaningful participation from all of us.
